An earnings calendar is a dated list of when companies report, plus other corporate actions you should not discover on the print. Vantafin's market calendar at /app/calendar covers earnings, dividends, stock splits, and IPOs in day, week, and month views.

Filter by event type. Scope the view to a watchlist so you only see names you already care about. Click through to a profile, last quarter's transcript, or a news alert.

The calendar is reachable without an account. Paid plans add the research tools you will want the week of the print.

How to use the market calendar

  1. Open Calendar.
  2. Pick day, week, or month. Day is for one session. Week is for the desk. Month is the map.
  3. Filter event types: earnings, dividends, splits, IPOs.
  4. Optionally scope to a watchlist.
  5. Open an event. From earnings you can jump to transcripts or materials when they exist, then to the full profile.

What each event type is for

| Event | Why it is on the calendar | | - - - | - - - | | Earnings | Report date; prep transcripts and financials | | Dividends | Ex - date and payment timing | | Splits | Share count changes that move the chart | | IPOs | New listings entering coverage |

A simple earnings - week routine

  1. Filter Calendar to earnings and your core watchlist.
  2. For each name, read last quarter's transcript for prior guidance.
  3. Open Financials so you know the run rate.
  4. Set a news alert on the list so the print is not a surprise.
  5. After the call, read the new transcript and the 8-K/10-Q, not just the headline.

REST users can also assemble dividend calendars from the dividends API. The web calendar is the click path.
