1. Introduction

Vantafin is operated by DTS Analytics LLC ("DTS Analytics", "Company", "we", "us", "our"). Our platform incorporates artificial intelligence ("AI") features to help users research, analyze, and explore financial markets and related data. This AI Policy describes how AI is used within Vantafin, the limitations of AI-generated content, and your responsibilities as a user.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By accessing or using any AI-powered feature of Vantafin, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this AI Policy.

2. What Our AI Does

Vantafin's AI features are designed to assist with financial research and information retrieval. They may include, but are not limited to:

• AI-powered chat and conversational research tools
• Automated retrieval from Vantafin datasets using integrated data tools (such as company profiles, quotes, financial statements, SEC filings, news, earnings transcripts, earnings materials, screener results, and macro data)
• Summarization and analysis of SEC filings, earnings transcripts, earnings materials, and other public financial documents
• Document search and retrieval over files you upload to your personal file drive
• Contextual attachments in chat (such as tickers, watchlists, SEC filings, transcripts, earnings materials, and user files)
• Source citations and links to underlying documents where available
• Automated generation of conversation titles
• AI-generated summaries included in certain filing and news alert email notifications
• Programmatic access to the same underlying data tools through the Vantafin MCP server when you connect supported third-party AI clients using your API key

All AI features are informational and educational tools only. They are not, and are not intended to be, a substitute for the judgment of a qualified financial professional. AI responses may incorporate third-party market data and public filings retrieved at the time of your request; such data may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to licensing restrictions.

3. AI Accuracy and Hallucinations

AI systems, including those used in Vantafin, generate responses based on patterns in data and on content retrieved through automated tools. Despite safeguards - including citation checks where implemented - AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misattributed, or entirely fabricated - a phenomenon commonly known as "hallucination." AI outputs may appear confident and authoritative even when they are incorrect.

You should always:

• Verify all AI-generated information against primary sources such as official SEC filings, exchange data, company reports, or a licensed financial professional before relying on it.
• Review cited sources directly rather than relying solely on AI summaries or excerpts.
• Exercise your own independent judgment and not treat AI outputs as a sole or determinative source of truth.
• Understand that AI outputs can change - the same question may produce different responses at different times, especially when underlying market data or filings have changed.

4. No Financial, Investment, or Trading Advice

Vantafin's AI features have been engineered with safeguards to avoid generating personalized financial advice. However, no safeguard system is perfect. Regardless of how any AI output is worded:

The information provided on Vantafin, including blog posts, market data, quotes, charts, screeners, leaderboards, research tools, document search, alerts, API and WebSocket data, MCP tools, and AI-generated content, is for informational and educational purposes only. DTS Analytics LLC (operating as Vantafin) is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary, and nothing on the Service should be construed as a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. Your use of Vantafin's AI features does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, broker-customer, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship between you and DTS Analytics LLC, its officers, employees, or affiliates. We owe you no fiduciary duty or obligation by virtue of your use of the AI.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DTS Analytics LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to:

• Any AI-generated content, including content that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated
• Any market data, quotes, filings excerpts, or other information retrieved or summarized by AI features that is incorrect, delayed, or incomplete
• Any decision you make, or action you take or refrain from taking, based on AI-generated content
• Any financial losses, trading losses, investment losses, or opportunity costs incurred in connection with reliance on AI outputs or related data
• Any interruption, delay, error, or unavailability of AI features

Your use of AI features is entirely at your own risk. All AI-generated content is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. 7. Data and AI Interactions

When you use AI features, the prompts, queries, attachments, and content you submit ("AI Inputs") are processed by our systems and may be sent to third-party AI model providers to generate responses. Uploaded documents may be chunked, embedded, and indexed to power document search. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on:

• What data is collected in connection with AI interactions, including chat history, attachments, and alert summaries
• How your data is stored, processed, and retained
• How we use analytics and observability tools to monitor AI feature performance and safety
• Your rights regarding your personal data

Do not submit sensitive personal information, account credentials, Social Security numbers, brokerage passwords, or other confidential data to AI features or attach files containing such information unless you accept the risk that it will be processed by our systems and AI providers to deliver the Service.

Paid plans may include usage limits on AI chat questions or related features. Current limits are described on our pricing page.

8. Third-Party AI Infrastructure and Clients

Vantafin's AI features rely on third-party large language model providers, embedding services, and related infrastructure (which may include providers such as MiniMax and OpenRouter, among others we may use from time to time). We do not control these third-party systems and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, or performance. Outages, latency, model updates, or policy changes at third-party providers may affect Vantafin's AI features without prior notice.

If you connect external AI clients (such as Claude, Cursor, or other MCP-compatible tools) to Vantafin through the MCP server or Data API, those clients process your requests under their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing those policies, securing your API keys, and ensuring your use complies with our Terms of Service.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Vantafin's AI features to:

• Make time-critical trading decisions without independent verification
• Generate content for market manipulation, fraud, or any illegal purpose
• Reverse-engineer, extract, or reconstruct the AI's underlying models, system prompts, tool implementations, or training data
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically harvest AI-generated content outside authorized API or MCP access
• Represent AI-generated content as professional advice to third parties
• Submit content you do not have the right to use, or upload malware or harmful code through chat attachments or file features
• Circumvent any safety measures, content filters, plan usage limits, or rate limits
• Share API keys or allow unauthorized parties to access Vantafin AI tools through your account

10. Reporting Issues

If you encounter AI outputs that are harmful, clearly incorrect, or that appear to provide specific financial advice, we encourage you to report them. Please contact us at [email protected] with details of the issue, including the query used and the response received, so we can investigate and improve our safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AI Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
