A stock alert is a saved rule that notifies you when a price crosses a level, a company files with the SEC, or a headline hits. Vantafin alerts live at /app/alerts. Each one can go to email, Telegram, or both, and can target one ticker or an entire watchlist.

Alerts are Pro and Ultimate. You can save 10 custom alerts. Daily notification caps are 500 on Pro and 1,500 on Ultimate. Pair a chart level with a price alert so you are not glued to the pane.

What alert types does Vantafin support?

| Type | Fires when | Typical use | | - - - | - - - | - - - | | Price | A threshold is crossed | Entry/exit marks, round numbers | | SEC filing | A new filing is indexed | 10-K / 10-Q / 8-K watch | | News | A relevant headline is indexed | Catalyst coverage |

Price alerts can be one - time or recurring. Recurring keeps firing each time the condition is true. One - time is a single heads - up.

How to create an alert

  1. Open Alerts.
  2. Choose delivery: email, Telegram, or both.
  3. Choose type: price, filing, or news.
  4. Set scope: one ticker (for example AAPL) or a whole watchlist.
  5. For price alerts, set the threshold and whether it should recur.
  6. Save.

Telegram vs email

Email uses your account address. Telegram needs a one - time link in Settings: open the Telegram section, connect, then Telegram and Both become available on the alert form. Disconnect Telegram there to fall back to email.

Telegram is for the phone. Email is for the archive. Use Both when a filing alert should hit you immediately and still sit in the inbox.

Keep volume sane

Ten alerts is the cap, not a target. Scope filing and news alerts to a watchlist instead of one rule per ticker. Reserve noisy news alerts for high - conviction names. Check usage in Settings against the daily cap.

Developers who want their own pipes can use the Ultimate WebSocket for quotes, news, filings, and halts. Alerts are the no - code path.
