Creating a Vantafin account takes less than a minute and unlocks the ability to save watchlists, screens, alerts, and AI Chat history. You can sign up with a Google or Microsoft account, or with an email address and password. This guide walks through each option and what to do if you hit a snag.
Create your account step by step
- Go to the sign-up page or click Log in / Sign up from any page.
- Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft for the fastest path, or enter your email and a password.
- If you used email, open the verification message from Vantafin and click the confirmation link.
- You are dropped into the Markets Hub, ready to research.
That is it. Signing up is free and does not require a payment method.
Which sign-in method should you choose?

If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, Vantafin never sees or stores a password for you; authentication is handled by the provider.
Verifying your email
When you register with email and password, we send a verification link to confirm the address is yours. Until you verify:
- You can still browse, but some account actions are limited.
- The link expires after a period for security. If it expires, request a new one from the verify page.
Check your spam or promotions folder if the message does not arrive within a couple of minutes.
Forgot your password?
If you registered with email and cannot log in:
- Open the forgot-password page.
- Enter your account email.
- Follow the reset link we send you to set a new password.
Accounts created with Google or Microsoft do not have a Vantafin password; sign in with that provider instead.
What happens after you sign up?
New accounts start on the Free plan. You can immediately:
- Open any company profile.
- Create one watchlist.
- Browse SEC filings and news.
When you are ready for live data, AI Chat, alerts, and the API, compare the plans and upgrade in Settings.
